If you have limited time on or just want to visit 1 or 2 countries there are plenty of choices available to you. These can either be on the overland trucks or in 7 seater 4 x4's and mini-buses.
You will be travelling in a group of between 15-30 likeminded travellers from around the world. Together you will experience new places and different cultures and make life-long friends, you'll also discover more about yourself and your own capabilities.
If you travel on a short trip with the overland trucks what you will normally be doing is a short section of their larger trips so some people will be travelling for a longer duration or have been together prior to you joining the trip. These are the cheapest way of doing single or 2 country trips. They will be camping trips but with the chance to upgrade to simple accommodation for an additional cost locally.
Single country trips tend to have smaller group size (up to 14) and will be a mixture of hotels, permanent tented camping and full service camping. They tend to be a little bit more expensive but are fully serviced and do not require you to be actively involved in cooking, shopping etc. You will also start and finish at the same time as your fellow travellers, so group dynamics work well.
You can also do more comfortable single country safaris in style with lodge based tours. These are smaller groups (up to 12) and you are ensured a more personal, comfortable and stylish tour experience.
There are a range of single country safaris to suit any budget and interest so let us know your requirements and we will find the right trip for you.
