We can provide accommodation from £45 per person for a 2 night
stay when booked inconjunction with a Trans Siberian trip. (Based on
2 sharing).
 
China has great climatic diversity. In the north, summer is from May
to August when it can get quite hot and humid with temperatures rising
to 35°C. Winter, from December to March, is usually sunny with little
rain but can be extremely cold with temperatures in Beijing, Xian &
Shanghai as low as 0°C. In the south, summer is from April to September
and is generally hot and humid except in mountainous areas where temperatures
are pleasant day and night. Winter is usually mild but can get down
to 0-5°C.
A valid visa is required by all visitors. They can be obtained from
the embassy in the UK and currently cost £25. Please allow 2-3
weeks to process if applying by post, less in person. Embassy of the
