Day 1: Transfer from the International Airport (EZE) in a private vehicle, with an English-speaking guide to the hotel of your choice. The visit includes three nights stay with breakfast.

Multi-country itineraries in South America - sign Day 2: City Tour A fascinating 3-hour tour of the elegant turn-of-the-century districts that earned Buenos Aires the soubriquet of the Paris of South America. From the charming cobbled alleys and colonial architecture of San Telmo along to the Plaza de Mayo, dominated by the Casa Rosada (Government House), the Nación Bank, the Cathedral and original Parliament House, up the leafy Avenida de Mayo towards the imposing grandeur of the Palace of Congress and then on to finish at the historically fascinating Recoleta Cemetery, you will discover the facts, stories and anecdotes that make up the colourful tapestry of the history of Buenos Aires.

Day 3: Your chance to set your own programme and discover the sights and secrets of this enchanting city for yourself or choose one of the many excellent tours on offer and relax in the hands of a knowledgeable and interesting guide.
Evening: Dinner and tango show
Enjoy a typically Argentine first-class meal, be it the traditional steak, chicken or Patagonian lamb with a mouth-watering array of salads as well as any of a number of excellent pasta dishes before settling down for a two-hour show which includes some of the best-loved songs, music and dances performed by skilled musicians and dancers.

Day 4: Last minute shopping! Time to buy a hand-crafted silver mate pot, a book of photos of the Argentine gaucho or a hand-woven rug in the bright colours of the Argentine north-west. Or enjoy a coffee in the turn-of-the-century Café Tortoni followed by lunch in the spacious new Porteno district.

Multi-country itineraries in South America - Iguassu Day 5: Transfer from the hotel to the Airport in a private vehicle with and English-speaking driver. Arrive in Iguassu, transfer to the hotel. Accommodation and overnight at Hotel das Cataratas.

Day 6: Morning tour of the Brazilian side of the Falls - Tour stars walking from the Hotel. Located Inside the Brazilian side of National Iguassu Park, a walk is undertaken inside the sub-tropical forest during 45 minutes. In the afternoon, Macuco Safari boat tour - Towed by jeep, visitors are driven through the forest watching birds wild animals and exotic vegetation. At the end of 2 miles ride, a boat takes visitors upstream the nearest possible under the thundering water wall. Overnight at Hotel das Cataratas.

Day 7: Morning tour of the Argentina side of the falls -Located inside Argentina's side of National Park. Visitors cross the Argentinean border and end up into the Parque National del Iguassu, 40 km away from the Brazilian border. A walking tour on the falls. Pm transfer to airport for your onward flight.

Multi-country itineraries in South America - Rio Day 8: Arrive Rio de Janeiro - transfer to hotel Rio de Janeiro - Capital of the State of Rio de Janeiro, and also Brazil's capital from 1763 to 1961, is nestled between the mountains and the sea. Its magnificent shoreline includes charming bays and beautiful beaches, dotted with islands up and down the coast. Flying into Rio is a beautiful sight, whether it be at night or during the day, the visitor quickly finds out why Rio is known as the Wonderful City. It is also an important center for art and fashion. Pm H/d Tour Sugar Loaf - Visit the world famous Sugar Loaf Mountain in the middle of the Guanabara Bay, from where one of the most breathtaking views of the city of Rio can be seen. The tour also offers a panoramic tour to downtown Rio.

Day 9: Am Tour to Corcovado - After a beautiful scenic drive along Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, passengers arrive at the bottom of the Corcovado hill where they will embark on a comfortable train which will climb the beautiful mountain, where the statue of Christ, the Redeemer is located. From the top, discover why Rio is known as the Marvelous city! Return to Hotel early afternoon.
Evening - Rio by night with dinner and show - Enjoy a nice dinner in one of Rio's famous barbecue restaurants. After dinner, show at Plataforma, a samba house, where guests will enjoy a show with elaborately costumed mulatas, singers and dancers, presenting Brazil's folklore.

Day 10: Morning tour of Tijuca Forest by Jeep - Tijuca Forest, known as the world's largest urban forest. With its paths, waterfalls and greenery, Tijuca forest is a mix of history and nature. Balance of afternoon at leisure.

Day 1: Lima Arrival in Lima. Our local representatives will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel which is located in the district of Miraflores (approx 30 mins transfer time).

Day 2: Lima - Puerto Maldonado (B/L/D) Transfer for your flight to Puerto Maldonado and meet and transfer by bus and boat upon arrival. Afternoon walk through the rainforest to see medicinal plants and wildlife and in the evening a night boat trip to spot caiman.

Day 3: Puerto Maldonado (B/L/D) Morning excursion to a claylick to see parrots, and then to Monkey Island. In the afternoon boat trip to Lake Sandoval.

Multi-country itineraries in South America - toucan Day 4: Puerto Maldonado (B/L/D) Canoe trip to fish and observe the rainforest. Optional walk to see a steam ship abandoned in the middle of the rainforest. Visit to a small farm to try local fruit.

Day 5: Puerto Maldonado - Cusco (B) After breakfast we take the boat back to Puerto Maldonado and visit the fruit market if there is time before boarding your flight to Cusco. Transfer to hotel in Cusco.

Day 6: Cusco (B) Join a group today for a half day city tour of Cusco including the ruins of Sacsahuaman above the city. Free afternoon. Briefing meeting with the local guide for your Sacred Valley tour and Inca Trail in the evening. A chance to ask any questions and meet the guide and group you will be trekking with.

Round the World Argentina - inca trail Day 7: Cusco / Sacred Valley (B/L) Pick up from your hotel and travel on a coach through the Sacred Valley of the Incas including stops at Pisac where you can visit the colourful market, and in Ollantaytambo where you will climb up to its imposing Inca fortress at the top of the mountain

Day 8: Sacred Valley / Inca Trail (B/L/D) We start with an early morning transfer to the head of our trail at Km 82 from where we continue along the Urubamba River to the first archaeological site "Llaqtapata". Here we enjoy lunch in a beautiful setting. After a rest we continue into the side valley starting to gain altitude until we get to the last village Huayllabamba where we camp for today.

Day 9: Inca Trail (B/L/D) After a healthy breakfast we start climbing up to the first pass "Warmiwañusca" (4200 Mt/ 14'200 Ft). The climb will take us most of the morning. From here we descend for about 2 hours into the valley to our next camp "Pacaymayo".

Day 10: Inca Trail (B/L/D) We start in the morning with the ascent of the second pass "Runcuracay" (3900 Mt/ 13'800 Ft) and descend on the other side for about 2 hours to the beautiful archaeological site "Sayacmarca". We continue on the original stone path of the Incas through semi-tropical cloud forest onto the third pass "Phuyupatamarca" (3800 Mt/ 13'600 Ft). We end the day at "Winay Wayna".

Round the World Argentina - machu pichhu Day 11: Inca Trail (B) 2 hour hike through cloud forest to the famous sun gate "Intipunku" from where we have the first breathtaking view of Machu Picchu. After a guided tour time to enjoy the ruins and take the bus down to Aguas Calientes. After lunch we take the Vistadome train back to Ollantaytambo and transfer by bus to Cusco.

Day 12: Cusco - Lima - Iguassu (B) Transfer to Cusco Airport, upon arrival in Lima, reception and assistance to connect with your onward flight to Iguassu. Upon arrival in Iguassu, our local representatives will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in Iguassu (Brazilian side)

Day 13: Iguassu: Half day Brazilian Falls (-) After stopping at the visitor's center to see the exhibit on the local eco-system, we descend the walkway through the rain forest to the falls, with panoramic views of both the Argentine and Brazilian sides.

Day 14: Half day Argentinean Falls - Rio de Janeiro (B) Once in Argentina, we follow the scenic highway up to the Argentine Iguassu Park where we begin our visit of the Argentinean Falls. At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for your flight to Rio. Upon arrival, reception and transfer to your hotel.

Santiago to Lima

Day 1: Santiago Arrival at Santiago Airport and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon we will enjoy a city tour to see the most interesting attractions of the Chilean capital. Overnight in Santiago.

Day 2: Santiago -San Pedro - Valle de la Luna After breakfast a transfer will take us to the airport to board our connecting flight. Upon arrival at the airport of Calama, we have a transfer to San Pedro de Atacama. In the afternoon we will enjoy the eerily silent moonscape of Valle de la Luna with its backdrop of snow-capped volcanoes.

Day 3: San Pedro, historical sites & the Atacama Salt Lake After breakfast we will visit San Pedro de Atacama–the centre of a Palaeolithic civilization that built impressive rock fortresses on the mountains encircling the green valley. Passing through Toconao, we continue to the huge Atacama Salt Lake, an inland sea formed millions of years ago. You will be overwhelmed by the vast emptiness with the white salt crusts stretched out in front of you as far as your eyes can see. It simply is one of the most spectacular and dramatic landscapes in Chile. Return to the hotel.

Round the World Argentina - atacama Day 4: San Pedro de Atacama (B/L) Pick up at San Pedro de Atacama and cross the border into Bolivia. Visit Laguna Verde (Green Lagoon) at the feet of the Llicancahur Volcano. Continue to see the Sol de Mañana Fumaroles and Laguna Colorada (Red Lagoon), where 3 different types of flamingoes nest. Box lunch and continue to Uyuni. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.

Day 5: Uyuni (B/L/D) After breakfast set off into the Salt flats passing the town of Colchani, where most of Bolivia's salt it produced. Next stop is the amazing Salt Hotel, built entirely from blocks of salt. We continue to "Fish Island" which rises out of the sea of salt and is populated by an endemic cactus plant which grows up to 6 meters in height. We drive on to the Thunupa Mountain an extinct volcano considered sacred by local people, and revered by the Aymara culture. After lunch we head back to Uyuni and our chosen hotel.

Day 6: Uyuni – Oruro – La Paz (B) Private transport to Oruro where you will board the bus to La Paz, arriving around noon. Free afternoon to explore the city of La Paz.

Day 7: La Paz – Huatajata (L/D) Pick up from your hotel in La Paz and transfer to Huatajata, on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Visit the "Andean Roots Eco Village" including the museum, and replicas demonstrating the Andean way of life. Spend some time at the Kallawaya Natural Spa where thousand years' old methods and treatments are used. Join the optional trip to a traditional healer before dinner. In the evening visit the observatory to view the southern constellations.

Day 8: Huatajata – Moon Island – Sun Island (B/L/D) After a full breakfast, we set off by hydrofoil to Moon island to visit the Sun Virgins Temple Iñak Uyu, and then on to Sun Island to the "Pilcocaina" Sun Temple. We take a gentle trek with llamas to carry our bags to arrive at our hotel for the night.

Day 9: Sun Island – Copacabana - Puno We enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then visit the Inca Staircase & Sacred fountain, we have the chance to taste the sacred water believed to give eternal youth & happiness. We have lunch at the "Uma Kollu" archaeological restaurant and visit the small handicraft market in the afternoon before taking our hydrofoil cruise to Copacabana, where we visit the Cathedral and the market. We drive to the Peruvian city of Puno, stopping to admire the Andean town of Pomata on the way.
Transfer to your hotel in Puno.

Day 10: Puno (B/L) Early morning you will be picked up in your hotel for the day long bus journey Cusco. Enjoy the incredible view of the herds of alpaca and llamas grazing on these highland pampas, interspersed with small villages, and the majestic backdrop of the Andes. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant on the way. Meet and transfer to your hotel from Cusco bus station.

Day 11: Cusco (B) Half day city tour of Cusco including a trip to the Inca fortress of Sacsahuaman, and the Ina sites of Kenko and Tambomachay perched on the hills above the city.

Day 12: Cusco - Sacred Valley (B/L) Morning trip to the living Inca town of Ollantaytambo and its imposing ruins on the hillside. After lunch at a local restaurant, we continue to Pisac, a beautiful town famous for its typical handicraft market, full of color and tradition.

Round the World Argentina - machu pichhu Day 13: Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu (B/L/D) Travel to the iconic Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu by train and bus, arriving mid-morning. A specialised local guide will show you around the ruins, providing information about the history of the site and pointing out some of the impressive buildings. After your guided tour, you will have a buffet lunch at a local restaurant – a great opportunity to try some local food.

Day 14: Machu Picchu - Cusco (B) We will take the train to the station at Poroy and then travel the rest of the way to Cusco by bus, arriving into Cusco at around midday. Free afternoon to explore the city of Cusco.

Day 15: Cusco (B) A free day in Cusco to enjoy walking the cobbled streets of the San Blas district, soak up the atmosphere in the Plaza de Armas, or shop for locally made handicrafts.

Round the World Argentina - market Day 16: Cusco (B) Pick up from your hotel for a private transfer to the airport to catch your flight to Lima. Upon arrival in Lima you will have a private transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day will be free to relax before your flight home or to do some last minute shopping in Lima's stylish Miraflores district.
