Brazil Community Development 4 weeks from £1099
Take part in this incredibly worthwhile project, volunteering in Brazil to help improve the lives of the local community whilst broadening your own horizons and gaining an insight into another culture and way of life.
Based in Rio de Janeiro, you will also have plenty of free time to explore arguably the most beautiful city in South America. Working in the poor favela areas of Rio de Janeiro, this project helps build the confidence and self esteem of the local people and improves their opportunities.

Brazil Youth Outreach From £1,099.00 - 4 weeks
No visit to South America would be complete without time spent in Brazil. Why not volunteer with disadvantaged youths from poor communities, helping to fight poverty in various areas around the city of Rio de Janeiro while you’re there? Working towards integrated social and economic development, this programme will allow you to give a great deal back whilst experiencing an exciting new culture.

Favela renovation in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 2 weeks from £999
Competing against forest-clad mountains to the right and the cool Pacific Ocean to the left, Rio’s enthusiastic residents have somehow managed to create a city beautiful enough not to let down the neighbourhood! Why not pay them a visit and help some of the poorest favelas become as bright as the rest of the city? This project mixes hands-on work renovating local buildings with attempts to educate youngsters about sexual health and the dangers of drugs. Rest assured your day will be varied, from painting, cleaning, and gardening to developing community events within the renovated public spaces. With the intensive Portuguese language course you will also have a great time practising your new skills! What's more, when you finish admiring your handy work you’re free to explore the most exciting city on the planet.
